Imperial Lakes Estates is centrally located to four major cities --- Tampa, Bradenton, Sarasota, and St. Petersburg and three international airports --- Sarasota, Tampa, and St. Petersburg.  This is pointed out in the accompanying map found by selecting the "Location" button in the "Community Info" section.  You can see from the Google map that Imperial Lakes Estates is beautifully laid out with winding roads through 310 homes.  Also you can see that the community is next to a major highway (I75) that makes easy travel to surrounding areas.  We are only about one and one-half hours from Orlando.  The community is surrounded by fabulous entertainment as shown in the "Area Entertainment" section of this site.

The community itself is a gated 55+ condominium association and is loaded with features, not to mention the adjacent championship 18 hole golf course --- Imperial Lakewoods Golf Course.  The community, situated on a 65 acre lake, has two large heated swimming pools and also a Jacuzzi capable of holding eight people simultaneously.  The 7,500 square foot clubhouse (will handle over 400 people for functions) is complete with:

  •      Billiards
  •      Auditorium/Ballroom
  •      Library --- books and movies
  •      Kitchen
         Banquet facilities
     

The neighboring grounds contain two tennis courts, four horseshoe courts, and eight shuffleboard courts. Our "Calendar" is full of events so that nobody can say there is nothing to do.

Quarterly condo fees are quite low --- $252.  These fees have barely changed over the twenty-two years that Imperial Lakes Estates has existed.  This is in part due to the annual bazaar held here the first Saturday in February.  We gross about $20,000 from each bazaar.
